Banketbakker (32 - 38uur)
Brittons Bakery is opzoek naar een fulltime banketbakker om in ons awesome team van 10 te komen bakken. Brittons bakt nu al 8 jaar authentieke ambachtelijke Noord-Amerikaans patisserie voor de Amsterdamse HORECA en omstreken. Brittons probeert altijd de beste ingrediënten te gebruiken en het liefst lokaal en in het seizoen. Het allerbelangrijkst is dat je de liefde en nostalgie in onze producten terug proeft. Zo leveren bijvoorbeeld wekelijks boeren hun melk en eieren bij ons en bakken we alles van sratch. We zijn inmiddels zo hard gegroeid dat we een wachtlijst aan nieuwe HORECA klanten hebben en opzoek zijn naar een nieuwe locatie (in Amsterdam).

Functieomschrijving
Je werkt van 8:00-16:30.
In de ochtend zetten gaan we meteen aan de slag met wegen, mixen en bakken. Na de lunch zullen we de muffins, cinnamon buns, bundts etc. decoreren en zoveel mogelijk inpakken en klaar zetten voor de volgende dag. Tijdens de dag zorgen we dat de HACCP lijsten keurig zijn ingevuld en houden we alles netjes en schoon.

Job description
As a barista at Britton’s Bakery, you will play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience for our customers. You will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages and pastries, as well as providing exceptional customer service. Your passion for coffee, food and dedication to delivering top-notch service will help us maintain our reputation and become the go-to-bakery shop in the area.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and drip coffee. Take customer orders, provide recommendations and answer any questions about our coffee, bakery items and other merchandise and products sold in our shop area.
Prepare pastries, snacks, and other bakery items as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee preparation areas and serving stations.
Handle operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food safety practices and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
Previous barista of coffee-making experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
A genuine passion for coffee and food.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with a smile.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
A positive attitude and a strong team player.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
English is required. Dutch is preferred but not required.
